So Ive been fasting and low carb/ketoing for just over two years and I have experience many health changes for the better, including a normal bp, and lower bg and cholesterol benefits and lots of inches lost but not a great amount of weight lost, only about 36 pounds in that time. I have seen many others on here that have had the same slow burning of fat. And yet many others that have had a huge loss on the scales. This got me wondering why the difference and off I went on another research. It turns out that our ancient ancestors came in 3 body types depending on where in Europe they lived and we all have a combination of those 3 body types as they eventually met up with each other and started interbredding. There were the Ectomorphs who had long thin bodies with long limbs and could not gain body fat if they tried and who lived on a mostly vegetarian diet. Most runway models have a large percentage of this DNA. There were the Mesomorphs who had a muscular V shaped body a little shorter then the Ecto’s who bulked up on muscle very easily and ate a mostly meat diet. All those people who have well defined muscular bodies with little effort, eating whatever the heck they want, have a large percentage of this DNA. And then there is my ancetors……the endomorphs. These ancestors lived in northern Europe and developed a very unique ability to store body fat on any diet within a short time. They evolved this ability because they often had to spend an entire winter with little to no food intake making them fall back on body fat to survive. Without the ability to store body fat easily would have ment extinction for this group. People who have a larger percentage of this DNA will naturally store fat under just about any condition and just about any macro intake and will naturally slow down metabolically very quickly under any form of restriction. This makes it very difficult to see weight loss on pretty well any eating plan in this world of surplice. While I was researching I came across some information about the adaptation time line for an endomorph. It said that the endomorph body will adapt and start to switch back to fat storing within about 3-4 days of a continuous use of any one macro plan. This would explain success at the beginning of a plan and then in short time leveling into a stall and then eventually fat gain again. Some experts on this topic recommend that people who have a large amount of the endomorph DNA need to practice a rotation diet to avoid that adaptation from happening. So with this in mind and after talking to several people who have been experiencing the same weight loss problem, I am starting an endomorph experiment. Mondays and Tuesdays I am eating a vegan diet, Wednesdays and Thursdays I am eating a carnivore diet, and Fridays to Sundays I am eating a Mixed macro diet. I am going to fast 18 to 23 hours each day to mimic the hunter/ gatherer eating window. I am hoping with this plan my body will not be able to get into adaptation mode and I will see some weight loss start to happen again.
My successful Diabetes Treatment Story
My doctor diagnosed me with diabetes just over a year ago, at the time I was prescribed Metformin. I went to the some diabetes related websites and learned about the diet they suggested. I started the diet right away and I was very loyal to it. However, after weeks of being on the diet it never helped, my blood sugar didn’t drop like I wanted it to. My personal physician wasn’t much help either, he didn’t really seem to give me any other options besides my prescription and the usual course of insulin. I was about to give up and then I discovered a great treatment method. The guide was authored by one of the leading professionals in the world of diabetes research, Dr. Max Sidorov. This is a guide that that shows you, in a very simple way, how to conquer the disease without traditional methods. I have to say that since I’ve found the guide and followed it, I’ve not only improved my health but I’ve also lost weight and improved other aspects as well. My activities have increased and I have a ton of energy! It is my goal to share the this diabetes treatment method as much as possible to show people there’s more to the disease than traditional schools of thought and you can find your own path to healing with natural methods.
